Device Engineering Director

Jianye Wang, Ph.D. is Transpire Bio’s Device Engineering Director, responsible for leading the development of respiratory drug delivery devices and novel aerosol technologies. Starting as a materials scientist, Dr. Wang has worked across a breadth of industries including the energy sector, printing technologies and medical devices. With a passion of converting applied science into healthcare related products, he has led the development of several advanced aerosol mechanisms and enclosed inhalation drug delivery devices (DPI, SMI and nebulizers). Beyond that, he also has extensive experience in the design and development of other medical devices like implants, surgical instruments, IVD and other PoC devices.
